President Donald Trump ripped into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, calling him “destructive,” after the central bank kept interest rates steady.

In a series of posts on Truth Social after the Fed's decision of not cutting interest rates once more, Trump called the central bank boss “Too Late Jerome Powell”, labelling him as an ‘American Disgrace’.

President Trump has increasingly pointed to rate cuts by other central banks as he pressures Jerome H. Powell, the Fed chair, to reduce borrowing costs.
