Apple should unveil the iPhone 17 series in September, and there might be one bigger difference between the Pro and Pro Max models this year.

An alleged dummy unit of the iPhone 17 Pro popped in a video back in April, but new hands-on photos give us a closer look at the next Pro model iPhone.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a 48-megapixel Wide camera, a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera, and a 48-megapixel Tetraprism Telephoto camera, which will make it the first iPhone to feature three 48-megapixel cameras, and it is also expected to support 8K video recording for the first time.

Previous reports have claimed the iPhone 17 Air will come in at 5.5mm thick, which compared to the iPhone 16 Pro’s 8.25mm would be proportionate to what the picture shows.

For comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro Max came with a 4,323mAh battery, the iPhone 15 Pro Max increased to 4,422mAh, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,676mAh unit. A move to 5,000mAh would represent nearly a 10% increase over the current generation.
