U.S. District Judge James Boasberg has provided the Department of Justice with a one-day extension to answer his questions regarding Saturday’s deportation flights to El Salvador. The judge issued a ruling to block the deportations while the flights were in the air.

The DOJ accused the judge of "continuing to beat a dead horse" by asking specific questions about deportations under a rarely used wartime act.

A federal judge is giving the Justice Department until Wednesday at noon to provide him, under seal, with more information about deportations the Trump administration carried out pursuant to President Donald Trump’s use of a sweeping wartime authority.
