King of the Hill is back with a new 10-episode season after 15 years off the air. Original cast members Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, and Pamela Adlon will reprise their roles. Kahn, Joseph, and Ted, among other characters, will be voiced by new actors.

The new season paid special tribute to the late voice actor at the end of the seventh episode. After the credits rolled, a photo of Hardwick with fellow King of the Hill voice actor Stephen Root (who voices Bill) was displayed, accompanied by text that read, "In Loving Memory…Johnny Hardwick."
