WASHINGTON - Texas Governor Greg Abbott and President Donald Trump will meet at the White House on Wednesday. The two are scheduled to meet in the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon, shortly before Pres. Trump signs an executive order to keep biological men from competing in women's sports.

The Texas governor will join the president to discuss immigration, and as Trump signs an order banning transgender athletes from competing in women's sports.

The governor has requested the federal government reimburse Texas for his border hardening measures under Operation Lone Star.

Texas GOP Gov. Greg Abbott is expected to meet with President Donald Trump on Wednesday, the same day California Democratic Gov. Newsom is meeting at the White House with the president.
