The Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin officially have a new starting quarterback. Aaron Rodgers has agreed to a deal and will be the team's lead man during the upcoming 2025 NFL season. With Rodgers on the roster, the Steelers could be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. However, there is also still a chance that things could go south.

Aaron Rodgers has officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he wasn't the first option — or second — according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The four-time NFL MVP and former Super Bowl champion is on a one-year deal after ending his free agency.

The Steelers’ schedule sets up a Rodgers Revenge Tour that doesn’t end in Week 1. He also will face the Vikings — who preferred to go forward with J.J. McCarthy and his zero career starts over signing Rodgers — in Week 4, and the Packers (in Pittsburgh) in Week 8 for the first time since he was cast aside for Jordan Love.
