A motorist was clocked driving at more than 320 kph (199 mph) on the Autobahn west of Berlin, a record high at more than 124 mph above the speed limit, German police said.

The German Autobahn is legendary among car enthusiasts due to its deliberate lack of speed limits, allowing people to legally drive as fast as they want. Unfortunately, that's not entirely accurate – more and more parts of the Autobahn are being speed restricted as the years go by.
