The Palestinian Authority said Israeli settlers set fire to homes and cars in a West Bank village on Thursday, killing one man, in the latest attack in the occupied territory.

A n Israeli settler shot dead a Palestinian teacher who helped film Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, the Palestinian education ministry and one of the film's directors said. The ministry said Odeh Hathaleen was shot during a settler attack on Umm Al-Khair village in the occupied West Bank.

Palestinians in the village of Susiya in the Israeli-occupied West Bank thought life could not get worse as Jewish settlers were attacking them repeatedly and ripping apart their precious olive groves.
