Tagovailoa's praise for Ewers comes as no surprise, given the rookie's strong performances throughout training camp. On Monday, the Miami Herald reported that during the final 11-on-11 red zone period, Ewers completed three consecutive touchdown passes in his three reps. He drew commendation from Tagovailoa and the offense after each score.
