No. 5-ranked Novak Djokovic, in the midst of a three-match losing streak, has pulled out of the Italian Open putting in question whether he'll be able to play at the French Open.

Six-time champion Novak Djokovic will not compete at the upcoming Rome Masters next week. As was expected, Novak took a break following the Madrid Masters and an early loss. The legend will hit the practice court and try to raise his level ahead of Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Italian Open, which begins on Sunday, after losing his first match at the Madrid Open last week
