(Reuters) - A Russian drone attack late on Tuesday killed one person and triggered power, water and heating cuts in Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odesa for the second day running, the regional governor said. Oleh Kiper, writing on the Telegram messaging app, said a woman aged 77 had died of shrapnel wounds on the outskirts of the city.

A Russian drone attack injured four people and damaged energy infrastructure in Ukraine's Black Sea port of Odesa on Monday, triggering power cuts in the city and knocking out heating systems, local authorities said.

Russia strikes rained down Ukraine overnight after President Donald Trump ordered a pause on U.S. military aid to the embattled country. A White House official said Trump's aid pause was aimed at pressuring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to engage in negotiations to end the war with Russia.
