The Grand Traverse County sheriff and prosecutor, as well as officials from Munson Healthcare, provided more details on the random attack at a Walmart Saturday afternoon.
As per the witnesses' account, Gille entered the Walmart Superstore and began attacking shoppers near the checkout and pharmacy areas with a folding knife.
Emmet County Sheriff’s Office deputies were searching for Bradford James Gille over the weekend, but the 42-year-old was not located before he carried out a mass stabbing at a Walmart in Traverse City.
According to the Petoskey Department of Public Safety’s press release, city officials believe Gille had left Emmet County before the court order was issued.
