The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department issued an evacuation order for residents near the Ranch Fire in Apple Valley. The vegetation fire sparked at roughly 1:45 p.m. Tuesday near Bowen Ranch Road.

A wildfire that ignited on Tuesday afternoon, June 10, south of Apple Valley spread across 4,205 acres, threatening homes and prompting mandatory evacuations in parts of the San Bernardino County High Desert, Cal Fire said.
