President Donald Trump announced Sunday night that Kash Patel had tapped Dan Bongino to be second-in-command at the FBI, after the Senate confirmed Patel as the bureau’s new director last week.

Bongino’s show is syndicated through Westwood One, and he does a podcast for Cumulus Podcast Network. He f ormerly was a contributor to Fox News and hosted a weekend show for the network. He also was a host for NRA TV, and made headlines in 2018 when he declared, “My entire life right now is about owning the libs.”
