The Green Bay Packers had two highly impactful coaching positions to fill in the offseason. Now, both are close to getting done. According to ESPN's reporter Rob Demovsky, the Packers plan to hire DeMarcus Covington as their defensive line coach and to promote Sean Mannion to quarterbacks coach.
According to ESPN, the Green Bay Packers are hiring DeMarcus Covington to be their defensive line coach. Last season was Covington’s first as the Patriots defensive coordinator.

Covington spent last season as the defensive coordinator for the Patriots under Jerod Mayo. It was his first season at the position, and the defense struggled on the field, giving up an average of 342.9 yards per game and 5,829 yards on the season overall.

Graham enters his 17th season in the NFL and his fourth season as the defensive coordinator with the Silver and Black.
Patriots assistant coach Ben McAdoo is reportedly "expected" to to stay, though his role on Mike Vrbel's staff could change.
McAdoo served in the role of senior offensive assistant for the team under Jerod Mayo in 2024. He has previously worked for the Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars, among other teams. He is most known for being the head coach of the New York Giants from 2016-2017.
