King Charles has given Justin Trudeau a warm welcome as the pair met at Sandringham. The king appeared to give a hearty laugh as the Canadian leader gestured towards him with a pointed figure and shook the monarch’s hand.

King Charles will meet with the Canadian Prime Minister before Justin Trudeau returns to Canada tomorrow. It comes after the biggest European peace summit since the end of the Second World War, at which Trudeau joined Sir Kier Starmer and other world leaders.
