The New York Jets have released Davante Adams, parting ways with the star wide receiver less than a year after acquiring him from the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders told veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew that they plan to release him, a source familiar with the move told UPI on Wednesday.
