There’s no word on whether she’ll be playing Zoe or Mio, but Variety reports Sydney Sweeney has been cast in the upcoming Split Fiction film adaptation that will be directed by Wicked’s Jon M. Chu and written by Deadpool & Wolverine scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Over a month ago, we learned Hazelight Studios’ co-op adventure game Split Fiction was being adapted to film. Now, we know who’s directing and starring in it: Jon M. Chu ( Wicked) and Sydney Sweeney ( Madame Web ), respectively.

Sydney Sweeney will star in Split Fiction, directed by Jon M. Chu. The Split Fiction game follows Mio and Zoe, trapped in a simulation of their stories. Mio and Zoe are polar opposites, but Sweeney can play either of the two leads.
