Joseph Morales is back in the UFC. The 30-year-old veteran pulled off a major upset to open the UFC 319 preliminary card, submitting the undefeated Alibi Idiris (10-1) with a gorgeous triangle choke in the final of The Ultimate Fighter 33 flyweight tournament.

Middleweights Baisangur Susurkaev and Eric Nolan were added to the card in the featured prelim slot for their official UFC debuts. Susurkaev was a first-round winner on the Contender Series just four days ago while Nolan arrives having won four straight and eight of 11 overall in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion.

In the UFC 319 preliminary card opener Saturday, Morales (13-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) dominated the heavy favorite Alibi Idiris to win "The Ultimate Fighter 33" flyweight tournament. Morales submitted Idiris (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) by triangle choke at 3:04 of Round 2. The event took place at United Center in Chicago.

There are 12 fights queued up for UFC 319 on Saturday, Aug. 16, including a Middleweight Title bout between champion Dricus Du Plessis and challenger Khamzat Chimaev.
