The rapper, whose legal name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of possession of a firearm while being a felon.

Prosecutors have declined the case against rapper Soulja Boy after his arrest Sunday on suspicion of a weapons charge following a traffic stop in Melrose, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
