Sergio Perez is currently in talks over a three-year contract with the Cadillac Formula 1 squad but also has other options, Motorsport.com understands.

The six-time grand prix winner, who was dropped by Red Bull at the end of 2024, is currently in Miami, where he owns a residence. Coinciding with his presence, Cadillac is hosting a "red carpet" event on Saturday night, amid speculation that the team's 2026 F1 car livery may be unveiled.
