Campo 2 Fire initially started 1:13 p.m. March 9 in San Diego County. It has been burning on private land for 20 hours. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

The rain will continue off and on through Saturday in most parts of the county with a brief respite Wednesday, the San Diego office of the National Weather Service said.
