When Oscar Piastri lost out to teammate Lando Norris in the F1 Sprint race earlier today at the Miami Grand Prix, the driver deadpanned that he “won’t be buying any lottery tickets at this place.” That lack of luck continued into the afternoon.

F1 heads to the United States for the first time this season for the Miami Grand Prix - and the second sprint weekend of the 2025 season. Oscar Piastri won his third race in four with his victory in Saudi Arabia last time out, which gave him the championship lead over McLaren teammate Lando Norris.

Oscar Piastri has shown he has the pace to fight for the Formula 1 title. In winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on Sunday, he showed he can win an argument, too.
