The 2024-25 NBA season isn't over quite yet. The Finals kicked off on Thursday, and the underdog Indiana Pacers managed to take a 1-0 lead. The series may have a long way to go, but teams other than Indiana and the Oklahoma City Thunder are already looking ahead to the looming offseason.

Some fans clamored to see a court that matched the magnitude of the event – meaning they didn’t want to see a court that was no different than a regular-season game. It was pointed out that the league’s NBA Cup court has logos on it for the in-season tournament.

Though the league is big on flashy courts during the NBA Cup, the NBA Finals courts have been understated. That may change.
