Winter is not over yet in Florida, as a cold front is set to move in on Wednesday, with a line of rain and storms bringing a risk of severe weather. Follow wildfire updates in North and South Carolina, where blazes erupted over the weekend. The largest stemmed from a forest fire near Myrtle Beach.

Widespread gusty winds are expected once again today with gusts as high as 40 mph this afternoon. A Wind Advisory remains in effect for the entire Midstate until 6 p.m. today. unsecured objects could be blown around and some isolated power outages will still be possible.
