Detroit police are seeking tips in a fatal shooting Wednesday on the city's northeast side. At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 14600 block of Mapleridge and found a shooting victim in his 40s. He was pronounced dead on the scene. A suspect was taken into custody and a weapon recovered, police said.
