President Donald Trump's administration said on Tuesday it was considering selling some of the U.S. government's most iconic properties, including the headquarters of the Department of Justice, the FBI and the building that once housed Trump's luxury hotel.

The Trump administration has placed some of the country’s most iconic and well-known federal buildings on the potential chopping block, including them on a list of more than 400 properties deemed “not core to government operations” and candidates for “disposal.

The General Services Administration published a list of 320 federal properties it identified to close or sell after deeming them “not core to government operations.”
