Fall is often first-person shooter season, and looks like this year's release calendar will include the next entry in the Battlefield series. Battlefield 6 is launching on October 10, and will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam, Epic Games and the EA Play app.

If you plan to play the game later this year when it's released or you want to play it as early as next week, you might want to check out EA's subscription service, EA Play. Signing up for the service will automatically grant members access to the open beta's early access that starts on August 7.
