It's been known that Starship would eventually launch from Florida, but now SpaceX is saying it may happen as early as the end of this year — as SpaceX ambitiously confirmed they are pushing to launch from Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A by the end of 2025.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX announced on Monday that they plan to launch their massive Starship rocket from Florida in 2025. During a pre-launch webcast ahead of Monday’s scrubbed Starship launch, SpaceX officials said they plan to conduct a launch of the megarocket at Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A.

SpaceX announced Monday its plans to launch Starship from Kennedy Space Center later this year while building out more support infrastructure in Florida to support two launch sites.
