LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKBN) – ESPN’s Pete Thamel is reporting that Youngstown native and Cardinal Mooney graduate Vince Marrow is leaving the coaching staff at the University of Kentucky to take a position at Louisville. According to the report, Marrow is finalizing a three-year deal to become the general manager of the Louisville football program.

Louisville took a big swing into the heart of its rival program, hiring Kentucky associate head coach Vince Marrow as its new general manager for football, CBS Sports' Chris Hummer confirms. Marrow has been an on-field position coach at Kentucky since Mark Stoops took over the program in 2013.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Kentucky associate head coach Vince Marrow had accepted an offer to become Louisville’s general manager. Just over 24 hours later, Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones provided further details on Marrow’s exit from the program.
