The Texas college students are among hundreds across the country who reportedly had visas terminated in recent weeks.

According to reports, 19 other students from the University of Texas at Dallas and 27 students from the University of North Texas also had their records removed from the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), the federal database that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security uses to maintain information on international students.

Hundreds of student visas have been revoked across the United States, including almost 80 in North Texas. This comes as the Trump Administration announced new social media screenings for antisemitic activity by students seeking visas and those in the higher education system.
