So far, the only confirmed cast member for Season 4 is Sudeikis, who will return as Ted Lasso. Options had been picked up for other series actors Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift, but their involvement in the new season has yet to be confirmed.

After more than a year of speculation, Apple TV+ has ordered a fourth season of its Emmy-winning comedy Ted Lasso. The pickup comes after co-creator and star Jason Sudeikis closed a deal to reprise his role as the title character, the manager of the fictional AFC Richmond soccer club in London.

"'Ted Lasso' is officially returning back to the football pitch for a fourth season that will reunite the team behind the history-making, multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy series, with Jason Sudeikis reprising his award-winning role as the celebrated coach Ted Lasso," the company said in a press release Friday.
