Sam Burns and J.J. Spaun reached the turn in a share of the U.S. Open third-round lead at Oakmont Country Club on Saturday while LIV Golf's Carlos Ortiz stormed into contention and was two shots back along with Viktor Hovland.

Americans Sam Burns and J.J. Spaun shared the lead on three-under par as they made the turn in the final group in Saturday's third round of the US Open. Spaun opened with a birdie putt from just outside 15 feet to match Burns for the lead,
