A series of very wet days are in Portland’s near future as storm systems roll through the region bringing widespread rain, breezy winds, and heavy Cascade snow Friday and throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Officials in Lincoln County are asking the public for new information on the murder of a teenage girl which has gone unsolved for over 40 years. On March 9, 1984, authorities said 17-year-old Kelly Disney was reported missing after being last seen walking eastbound on Highway 20 near U.S. 101 in Newport.
