An interesting amalgamation of rehash, redemption, and enough hilarious moments just barely qualify Happy Gilmore 2 as a worthy sequel.

Now, 29 years after winning his first tour championship, retired golfer Happy Gilmore, despite being quite rusty, returns to the sport to pay for his daughter Vienna's ballet school. "Happy Gilmore" introduced a wacky and very popular, almost slap-shot style swing now commonly referred to as the "Happy Gilmore swing."
During the film's climax, Post Malone makes a cameo as DJ Omar Grant, a flamboyantly dressed sports commentator who weighs in on Happy's final tournament. Post has been racking up film roles over the past few years with recent parts in Road House and This Is Me...Now: A Love Story and Dear Santa.
While the new movie doesn't explicitly state it's taking place in Connecticut, there are a few references that eagle-eyed viewers can spot.
"Happy Gilmore 2" has landed safely on the fairway and is now streaming on Netflix. With Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and more reprising their memorable roles in this sequel, Rotten Tomatoes has given the movie a critic Tomatometer rating of 64% and an audience Popcornmeter score of 73%.
