Paramount+ With Showtime has renewed Dexter: Original Sin for season two, following the conclusion of its 10-episode first installment in February. A writers room for the second season is set to begin work soon, with showrunner Clyde Phillips again at the helm.

Dexter: Original Sin took audiences back in time to before the events of Dexter as the titular mass murderer first began to satisfy his “dark passenger.” By the end of Season 1, he was fully invested in that violent vigilanteism we came to know in the original Showtime drama.
