Arike Ogunbowale tied the Dallas Wings’ franchise record with 14 assists and scored a team-high 20 points in the win over the New York Liberty.
The New York Liberty looked like a shell of themselves against the Dallas Wings for three straight quarters, getting blown out and shocked on the road in a 92–82 loss that appeared better than the actual tide of the game.
Clearly, the Liberty are the better team this season. Being able to pull off such an upset is great for the mood in Dallas and gives a preview of what could come in the future. With Bueckers and Ogunbowale leading the way, the Wings seem to be heading in the right direction.
