A high-level panel has been set up to investigate the causes of the Ahmedabad plane crash and the investigation is progressing smoothly, the government said on Saturday. The black box of Air India's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner plane that crashed on Thursday (June 12) was recovered from the site on Friday evening (June 13).
Air India on Saturday said it is in the process of completing the one-time safety inspections, as mandated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), for its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.
